I can't find a way to change ios 7 safari reader text size separately from general. I don't want my iMessage text to get bigger. I want text to be controlled separately like in ios 6. Am I just missing the buttons?

I could be missing it as well, but I see no way to increase the text size in reader other than using the text size setting in the General settings.
I've been looking for answer to this myself. It was in iOS 6, why would they take this feature out?
I hope that someone can shed some light on this as having a severe sight impairment this was a essential feature.
The other thing I have noticed is that the reader feature is not available on some sites that it was using ios6.
Apple please can you shed some light on this ?
My mom, having just upgraded to iOS 7, asked me the same question. I didn't know this feature even exisited (and I surely could've used it). At least on the iPhone, it's still there (I'm guessing iPad too). The button is just to the left of the URL. See the screenshot below. Hope this helps!
They haven't made it easy but it is possible.
In settings, go to General - Text Size and fiddle around with that.
The annoying thing about this is that it works across all supported apps and isn't changeable inside safari as it used yo be.
I knew how to get into the reader but it looks like the only way to change the text now is in the general setting whereas you used to be able to changing it directly in the reader. Changing the text in general changes it over all of the apps I don't want my text bigger in all the apps just the reader.
This is a very disappointing aspect of ios7.
Yup. Have you noticed that you can't search your contacts anymore either? The keyboard won't come up when you click in the search box. Basic OS continuity stuff. Very disappointing.
What exactly are you talking about here?
Searching contacts from Springboard simply involves swiping down from any icon on the screen, then typing in the field shown at the top of the screen.
