When I create new iTunes playlists on my iPhone 5, I start by browsing songs in my existing playlists (top 25, purchased, etc.).
With iOS7 this is not available. I can only add from songs, artists, albums and composers.
Is there something I am missing?
same issue - I think the feature has been removed. It was never available on the ipad..isntead, you cound type the name of a song and find it that way...looks like apple removed the ability to add from other playlists....and added the search capability. I prefer the ability to add from existing playlists and hope they add the feature back.
So I am not the only one who is having this issue?? Taking that feature away....that is ridiculous! I thought I was going nuts, because I kept trying to figure it out (hence, how I ended up here) I'm pretty ****** off now that I upgraded, because I have to create a 16 song playlist 2-3 times per week for my fitness class. Now I have to go through over 2000 songs to get 16 that I want!!!
I just posted the same thing, I make a ton of playlists on my phone for running, this seems to be such an arbitrary function to remove, having to hunt and peck to find a bunch of random songs, when they exist in a list I want to edit, is crazy. Please someone form Applle return this function.
I wonder why they removed this option, as I also used it all the time. It doesn't seem like something that was interfering with any other functions. Really hoping they reconsider and it appears in the next update.

I usually edit playlists in iTunes.
My only usage of "playlist edit" on iPhone is when buying a song in the iPhone. I add it to the Favorites PL searching from the Purchased PL.
And now, it's gone .....
