Nov 25, 2013 4:20 AM in response to shira_3434by MishelC,This is complete ********!
I shouldve never updated to the new ios!!
My phone was completely fine all until I decided to update and ever since then
I did not receive any notifications from apps such as snapchat.
However, when I did go to the app...The "Connect to Itunes to Use Push Notifications" kept
popping up non stop even after clicking "Ok".
When I did finally somehow managed to open all the **** snapchats I missed, it flashed for a lightning speed of a second so essentially I did not see them....
I couldnt even exit out of the app because of the **** pop up especially since
my iphone home and lock buttons dont work (surprised to find out over half the people I know with
an iphone have this same problem).
I have tried to Reset the Network Settings - Problem presisted
I have changed the notification style - Problem presisted
I have backed it up (for 3 hours) and restored it to a backup - Problemt presisted
I have turned on and off the push notifications - Problem presisted....
I have literally been up ALL NIGHT!
& Now I am trying to restore this **** phone into factory reset 2 hours before work!
Absolutely ridiculous!
I expected more of the Apple brand.
This better work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Finally this simple step of logging out of itunes and app store and then relogging worked the charm!

Jan 14, 2014 12:46 AM in response to shira_3434by NemWiper,I have this problem since I updated to 7.0.4. I've tried all the solution in this thread without success (the only one that I skipped was the Redsnow one). The thing that worked for me was:
- General -> Reset -> Reset Settings (the one without resetting the data)
Not the network reset, beware!
Not only this fixed my problem, but my phone (iPhone 4) is a LOT faster than before!!!! I've keeped all my data and my applications. You will lose the alarm clocks, the network preferences and the background images. After doing this, all the applications started do ask for notifications at first start, as all the preferences was gone!!!
Hope this help someone!!
