I just got iOS7 and whenever i plug my iPod touch in, it keeps beeping over and over. It also pops up with the notification "This cable or accessory is not certified and may not work reliably". This is a new cable and it was made by apple. Any help would be great

Sounds like there is a problem with the cable.
Do you have another cable you can try to confirm this?
You may need to make an appointment with your local Apple store to have them replace if it is isn't working.
Yes, very likely a cable. If the cable is defective APple will replace it at no cost. Some cabes have went bad.

SN is serial number. You have to enter that if you send in the item to Apple repair/replacement.
Will they fix the charger, even if i bought it seperately than the iPod?
Yes if it is an Apple cable. Not if it a cable yo purchased from other than Apple.
I'm not 100% sure if this a legit charger then. It looks liek an apple charger but it's probably not then.
