I have students enrolled in an iTunesU coarse and when I post an assignment it shows up under the material, but does not download to be able to be opened. Are there any tricks?

I have tried turning on and off the wifi, deleting and re-enrolling in the coarse, turning the iPad on and off. None of these work. It gets frustrating because it is only on a few students iPads and it is random.
