Just a thought - if this is your home wifi connection, try shutting down the internet cable box (or whatever device/means you use to get to the internet), and also your wifi router. Wait the usual 10 seconds and turn them all back on and see if that helps....

I used to have this headache a few months ago with it recurring every other day. Every other device at home had no problem, but my iPad and my sons used to choke regularly.

No real solution to my problem - it just decided to stop its problems on its own.

I updated a iPad 2 and iPhone 4s to ios 7 last week, all fine until today and now both will not connect to wifi, tried all the 'fixes' and none have worked.

My Wifi connection worked fine until the latest upgrade.  Now if I can get it to connect at all, it will kick out within hours.  I do all the recommended resets which work but only temporarily.  I tried to contact Apple.  The call was dropped.  I contacted them by email (with my PC).  I received a "ticket" but when I tried to use it to contact them, it "could not be found".  Then they had a nerve to send me an email to ask how my "experience" with Apple Support had gone.  Talk about adding insult to injury.

    This is beyond annoying.

This is gonna sound dumb but it worked. I couldn't turn my wifi on, the toggle wouldn't move, I put it in the freezer and let my phone sit for about 10 minutes, turned it off and then back on and it worked!!! Try it, seriously!!!

Putting it in the freezer can not be a long term fix.. Are you getting proper signal strength?

I got my to turn on twice with all the random fixes.. and when it was on.. i get the strenght the phone would have to be right next to my wifi signal.

I have not tried the freezer.

Ive tried everything including Bam11's post above.  After installing IOS7 on my iphone 4 and ipad 3, everything worked fine til today, i woke up, saw my APE had a blinkung yellow light, reset and istalled latest firmware and got my steady green going, my old imac is connecting fine to the APE but my IOS7 devices wont, they recognize my network but just wont connect.  Said devices can connect to other unlocked networks in the area but not mine.  i suppose ill sit tight for a few days, im sure apple will address the issue or someone will provide a fix.

pleaee excuse my wording and gram,,,, I'm at work trying to multi.

To add to this long chain of phones with problems with wifi, my iphone 4S runing 7.0 had the wifi greyed out this morning suddenly.  It had been working fine.  After following the apple suggestions of restoring system I found this list of complaints.  I followed the steps of going into airplane mode and turning off the phone for five minutes.  When I started back up, wifi was working again.

I've had the same problem. Tried many things you proposed, but what worked for me was this: I disabled Control Center, turned on the airplane mode and Do not disturb mode and then did the hard reboot of the phone. After that I got the connection. I hesitated whether to turn on the control panel again, but I did and it is still working. Hopefully it'll be all right now.

Mine is still working. I put it in the freezer without the case. My wifi signal is normal.
