Dec 19, 2013 8:16 AM in response to NozickaBognerby mubashardu,I have good news for you. I experienced same problem as you are facing and spent two days tweaking all kind of settings and various online solutions using youtube videos. tried to format, restore to factory setting. deleted all data and content, network settings.. ... nothing worked. so WHAT WORKED?
you wont believe it. but this new silly method worked great for me and i am so confident that it can solve ur problem too.
STEP 1: use any hair dryer to heat up your iphone. you have to do it for approximately 5-7 minutes till you get error message on your phone ' temperature warning, please allow your phone to cool down to use again'
STEP 2: once you get warning message on screen, take your phone and store in fridge (cool) place for approximately 10 minutes.
FINALLY, Once you do that, you wifi , bluetooth, everything will be up running without any issues. I didnt blv this silly method as i am IT-savy person, but this method worked GREAT for me. let me know if it worked for you too.
you have to thank me for helping you

Dec 23, 2013 10:59 PM in response to Fede23by Windrush100,Just to add more weight to this issue, I have been using a 4s for two years with no problem but after upgrading to ios7 I had the same wifi grey out issue. I took the phone to my local Apple store and after diagnosis they said that the antenna was broken and the phone needed replacing.
I did this and after a week of using my new 4s the very same issue has occurred whilst downloading Apps from the Apps Store - has anyone else experienced greeting out whilst downloading Apps as I seem to recall that this caused the problem with my original iPhone as well?
I have tried doing all of the suggested fixes mentioned in this discussion thread to no avail. As this is my business phone this issue is a both costly, time consuming and extremely frustrating for me. I now have to wait until the New Year before I can get into an Apple Store to see what they say this time!

Dec 29, 2013 1:48 AM in response to Fede23by stoicalm,Exact same problem, i have three iphone 4 thankfully i only one managed to upgrade its self to ios 7.0.4 and the wifi button greys out. when i do a restore as new phone the wifi works for about 5 minutes before the phone switched it self off for about 10 minutes when it comes back on the wifi is grey out,
This is not the first time apple updates have caused un fixable hardware problems and i have been using apple products long enough to suspect that this is an apple tactic to get people to spend more money with apple to replace apple products. Not happy here...
do not upgrade ios !!! if it aint broke dont fix it
next phone will be an Samsung or some thing similar
now where did i put my other jail broken phones that still work...

I tried but Nothing. I also tried to reinstall IOS 7 but I have the same problem. It's strange because with IOS 6 it works very well. Maybe I must wait another upgrade to fix bug? (If it's a bug)
it isn't a bug. It is something wrong with your setup. You might have to reset your wifi router.
