Mac mini suggestion
I have a Mac mini without a disc driver I need suggestions for a good printer that doesn't require a start up disc..I'm not even sure if one exists

You can download drivers (if OS X doesn't already have then installed - and there are hundreds that install with the OS) for almost ANY printer on the market these days. And if you can get to a computer that DOES have an optical drive you can always copy the disc to a Flash drive, if the printer comes with a disc (like HPs do).
