Mail: Image attachments ios7

Same here, I would think "Load remote images" would automatically download the images as it did in iOS6.

I have the same problem.... Is this a bug??

I have the same issue. I don't think Apple monitor these discussions, better to report a problem via:

Precisely! very annoying when you receive multiple attachments in one mail!

I'll report this too for Apple to squash the bug asap?

Never. This is a user-based community and we all volunteer our time and expertise.

Apple can be contacted at apple.com/feedback but you should not expect a personalized reply.

this may be a temporary fix. i am not sure what mail program you were using (i am using outlook for Mac) and was having the same problem.

i did a number of things:

1. unlocked the image before sending by choosing command "i"

2. i changed the extension from lower case jpg to JPG

3. i embedded the image in my email instead of attaching it.

I personally think it was #3.

Same problem here. Iphone 5, iOS 7.0.2

Suddenly started to happen for me too. Turned off download remote images and switched it back on again. It now works.

First verify you have turned on "Load remote images"

Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars>Load Remote Images

If on- Try turning it off and on again.

Restart phone if necessary.

I tried but I still have the problem.... 😟

I have it worst i cant even tap to download it will not load anything!!!! tried the above and a hard reset to no help.

some dont attachments dont even show up but some do which is really weird. i have 7.0.4. it began with 7. i have a ipod touch 4, tried updating to 7 wouldnt go so i still have 6.1.3 and all my attachment show up perfectly

Thanks. Turning it off and back on worked for my iPad.

Update: It worked for one email only....now the problem is back and all .jpg files say "tap to download". Not good.
