EFS support in OSX

I have a Win2003 Server set up as a file server. I want to use EFS (Encrypted File System) to encrypt folders and files in Win2003. I've had problems with "permission denied" when trying to access the files from OSX.

So, is EFS supported in OSX or is there third-party software to enable this?

Thanks!

There is no EFS support in OS X. While EFS uses standard encryption (AES-256 in recent versions of Windows), the library that handles encryption/decryption (efs.dll) is not available for OS X or any other non-Windows OS.
