Turn off passcode on iPad mini - iOS 7

Last night I downloaded the iOS 7 update and I noticed that on my iPad mini I have to enter in my passcode now on the lock screen. I did not have that before. I seem to can't find a way to turn off the passcode. Can someone tell me how to do that?
