ios7 on ipad2 using digital AV HDMI adapter. Any problems?

Anyone with an ipad2 updated to ios7 using the Apple digital AV hdmi adapter having any problems? And if so, any solutions. When updating to ios6 there were a few glitches reported,

which I had myself but got sorted out. Before I update, I would like to know if there will be problems again as I use the adapter alot.

Thanks

Rob

This happened to me when I updated to ios6 last year. What I did was replace my HDMI cable with a new one (I did get the Apple cable which does say high speed on the box) and it has worked since then. Try using a "better" cable, the cable I was using was a cheaper brand. Most comments on the web say HDMI cables are the same no matter what price range, which might be fine for TV viewing, but this Apple AV adapter might be more sensitive with video signals. Give it a try.

To sort of answer my own original question, my brother updated his ipad 3 to ios7. I forgot that that has the 30 pin dock connector also, so I tried the adapter with it and it worked. I'm still not going to update my ipad2 until a few more ios7 updates. I'm not in that big of a rush.

Thanks,

Rob

Yes I have problems since I updated my I pad 2 with IOS7.

I use HDMI cable and adapter to view Facetime and BT Sport on my Panasonic TV.

In Facetime, I no longer get sound to the TV and the picture cuts out after a few minutes.

BT Sport has both sound and picture to the TV, then both cut out after a short time of use.

The I pad, in both cases continues to work normally.

Has anyone else had and solved this problem.

Thanks

Brian
