Q: Why does the NEW OS 10.8.5 CONFLICT with my GiO MIDI Driver?

i just upgraded my OS to 10.8.5 and got this error.  i uninstalled the .mpkg from the .dmg GiO July 2011.  and my audio apps work, but now i don't have the full GiO functionality.  i reinstall and i get the error again.  i've also did disk repair/permissions.

i until Apogee comes out with an update, how do i revert back to 10.8.4?!

The MIDI Server can't be opened.

Audio MIDI Setup couldn’t open the MIDI Server so you can’t view or edit your MIDI configurations.

If you recently installed a new MIDI driver, try uninstalling it and then open Audio MIDI Setup again.  If Audio MIDI Setup works correctly after that, contact the driver’s manufacturer for further support.
