I downloaded the iOS 7 update to my iphone 4S and now I am unable to unlock my iphone. I can view the top and bottom menus from the home lock screen but I'm not able to swipe to unlock the phone, use the camera or to turn it off. Is there any way I can fix this before an update comes out?

I tried taking my otterbox off and it doesn't do a thing.
Guess I'm waiting for the update lol.
Same issue for me too. iPhone 4S - ios7. Because my lock button broke I had to wait for the battery to die in order for phone to reboot. Was able to unlock after the reboot
I am also faced same issue couple of times. Apple really need to provide an update to fix this issue.
Did you swipe the "slide to unlock" from left to right?
Yes, Locked screen get freezed and nothing happen, no touch response on lock screen execpt control center. 3-4 times in day i am facing this issue.severe issue.
did you perform a hard reset of the iphone>?
try to hard reset ur phone.. google it to hard reset ur phone..
No need of hard reset , this issue in iOS 7, Apple has to fix in iOS. Hard reset doesnt change iOS.
I am also facing the same issue on my iPhone - 4. I need to restart my phone altleaset 2,3 time a day.
Feeling shame on Apple. iOS 6.1.3 was a perfect OS , i didnt find any issues when i was using 6.1.3. Is there an option for me to change my iOS back to 6.1.3.
