I can't access/find the "lock" screen orientation funtion since downloading iOS 7

Since I downloaded iOS 7, I can't access the "lock" orientation key that used to be on the control centre. I've flagged on "use side switch to: Lock Rotation", but to be honest I have no idea what this means. How do I "lock" orientation of my screen with this new operating system?

Hi Anna,


With iOS7 on an iPhone, you lock the rotation by bringing up the control center and selecting the "Lock Rotation" icon. To bring up the control center, swipe up from the bottom of your screen. You should see a translucent display with the control center options:
