Oct 3, 2013 10:55 PM in response to TJBUSMC1973by Chti59,That reply about before and after the warranty is all well and good except when the phone works absolutely fine before an update the sends it over the edge. How would one know there is a defect in the phone when it works fine? why would you question it? Apple quality and all... Those of us having problems found out about these defects AFTER Apple issued an update that somehow set the defect in motion. Regardless as to whether the defect was there before the update or not, it's the update that some how activated the defect. Plus, how can Apple justify producing defective phones and not replacing them? Either way, the fault lies with Apple and they should be responsible for it.
I'm considering myself lucky for the moment because I live in the EU and the laws cover me but yes, it may be time for a switch from Apple the next time around.

Oct 4, 2013 9:04 AM in response to Carla Marie Valenciaby Galexa07,I had the same issue a week after upgrading to ios7... Until five minutes ago.... And hopefully it will last! Nothing worked (didn't try temperature crazy tricks though) anyway, after searching for an answer everywhere I found this in an Australian online newspaper:
"One of the most common complaints we are hearing from users is that they have been unable to access wi-fi and Bluetooth after installing iOS7.
Here are a few things you can try:
- Change the name of your device
The new operating system seems to have an issue with apostrophes. At least when it comes to wi-fi.
Check out your device name. If it is called something like “Claire’s iPhone” it could be the apostrophe that is causing the problem.
To change your device name go to Settings > General > About > Name. Tap on the name to edit it and remove the apostrophe. Save the change. Switch off your phone and then switch it back on again.
Your wi-fi should be working."
AND IT IS!!!!!! Again, hopefully it will last....

I wento to Vodafone to check it here in Spain and they say that they didnt found the problem reported, and when they gave it to me it worked! and when I arrive home, update the IOS 7 and all.... it turned off again.

Sounds like you can't control your impulses, and not use your cellular data except for essential needs. I never go over my alloted data usage, and I am RARELY near a wi-fi network.

Oct 4, 2013 9:28 PM in response to Carla Marie Valenciaby ios7.2,After I upgraded my iphone 4S to IOS 7, the Wifi and bluetooth worked for 2 days and stopped working after that. My wifi is grayed out. I have tried all the tricks nothing is working for me.
I went to apple store, the tech after running the diagnosis tells me that he is not able to identify what the issue is... how Sad! unfortunately the phone is not under warrenty.
Apple has to acknowledge that this is an IOS 7 issue and release a fix. If not they should recall the defective iphone 4s.
Very disappointed with Apple.

Oct 5, 2013 2:46 AM in response to Carla Marie Valenciaby suzanne-elise,I have the EXACT same problem with my iPhone 4s 16GB! I'm from The Netherlands (Europe) and I am really irritated because of this problem. Since the iOS 7 update, my WiFi stopped working every now and then, and it got worse everyday. Now it doesn't work at all anymore. I looked for a solution everywhere on the internet, but nothing works! I'm really ****** of Apple, you better find a solution very soon. Thinking about getting android instead of iOS... Shame on you Apple.
