updated ipod touch 4th gen and now only get a flashing apple icon....why????

today i tried to update my ipod touch 4th gen. to Ios6 and the screen changed to the update screen as usual. i came back and it turned off, i turned it on to check the progress and the screen started to go in an endless loop of turning on and turning back off. i looked in the troubleshooting and found to hold down the sleep button and the home button for 10 seconds to get it to stop and it did but it still wont turn on. whenever i try to turn it on it goes in the loop again and i have to hold down the buttons again. is there a way to get it to actually work? HELP!!!😟

Try:

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

- Try on another computer

- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
