Mid-2013 Macbook Air drains battery at hibernate

I recently got a new Macbook Air:

MBA 13-inch, Mid 2013

Processor 1.7 GHz Intel Core i7

Memory 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

Graphics Intel HD Graphics 5000 1024 MB

Software OS X 10.8.4 (12E3067)

The issue I'm running into is essentially that I close the lid (unplugged from power and anything else) and overnight the entire battery drains. When looking into the system log, I noticed that the sleep seems to run OK but it's when it tries to hibernate that the issue comes up. It looks to me like it tries to hibernate and runs into an error, tries again, run into an erro, tries again, etc.

This all seems to loop until the battery drains completely. Any Thoughts?

It's getting an error when it tries to open the hibernate file. How much free space is available on your SSD?

I'm having the same exact problem, brand new MBA as of a few weeks ago.

By chance do you have PGP encryption on your Mac? I just installed it and that is when this started happening.

Yes.

In fact, my IT department figured out the issue does have to do with the PGP encryption. They are working with PGP to solve the issue but haven't fixed it yet...

I have the exact same problem. I just installed Mavericks three days ago and I'm having battery drain when the lid is closed.

Does anybody have a solution for this problem ?

I experience the same problem but with a brand new rMBP with 500GB SSD. First three hours are fine, then the hibernate cycle starts over and over again. When I wake up in the morning, my rMBP actually feels warm!

I even switched my rMBP at the store, but I keep having the same problem...
