iOS 7 Bluetooth problems

I have a Prius and the a steering wheel controls stopped working after updating to iOS 7. I can't play the next or previous song which is pretty annoying because I have to grab my phone and look for the next/previous button while driving! It was working fine with iOS 6.

I believe this is a bug. Anyone else having the same issue?

yes...same here. Music connects to car via bluetooth automatically but only way i can play it or fast forward/skip is to manually do it on phone, which of course is breaking the law so whats the point of having it if it dont work. wont work with steering wheel remote or on my car entertainment centre (peugeot) you got to unlock phone, then touch iphone screen which isnt how its suppose to be

iOS6 everything worked 100% and 99% of time i use my car stereo to play my music from my phone so rather mugged of this feature isnt working as it should. i drive quite a bit on distance and this is important part of safe driving.

dont mind the new iOS7 and some new things are great but you would think they would test ALL aspects of it before the release the update

should also mention the music on their control centre doesnt work either. nothing happens when you touch the screen on those control

hmmmmmmmmm hope this gets fixed soon 😠

You need to remove ALL devices from the Bluetooth on your automobile. Then after turning your car off, while you are waiting the few minutes that I mentioned above, go to the Bluetooth on your phone and open up the device that probably reads something like "car multimedia", and click the remove this device button. Then turn off your Bluetooth on your phone. Turn your car back on and reconnect your device like you did when you originally did the very first time.

My iphone 5s initially linked to my 2012 Hyundai Genesis. Now it can't even discover the car. Additionally, my Jaybird bluetooth headphones are also not discoverable. Strangely, a no-name bluetooth speaker bought in the Caribbean is still able to connect via bluetooth. Until this morning, I had an iPhone 4 with iOS7 that connected immediately to all of my bluetooth devices. I need Apple to fix this soon or provide a way to drop back to iOS6.

Just unpaired my phone on my car's system and then chose "forget this device" on iPhone. Went through the pairing process again and all seems to be working - on the basis of making one successful call.... hoping this will be permanent and not work for one day and then have issues again. Thanks again Sammytx!
