iOS 7 Bluetooth problems

Definitely a bug. I have a 4Runner and am experiencing the exact same issue. Same problem with the controls on the center console as well. Tried deleting my phone off my car's system and repairing it but the problem remains. I agree, its very annoying. Oddly enough the play/pause button on the center console works but has about a 3 second delay. I agree, its going to be a pretty big nuisance until it gets fixed. Hopefully they get this figured out soon.

I am so glad that someone brought this up too! I have a 2012 prius and had no problems with bluetooth until I updated to iOS 7. I'm having the EXACT same problem. Music is able to play via bluetooth, but my steering wheel and console controls to go to the next song isn't working.

Same problem here. Apple says it's sky net. Maybe even Wal-Mart or something to do with global warming. But it's not ios 7

I think not only Toyota, my VW Passat also encounter the same problem after I upgraded yesterday, hope they fix it soon.

And i tried to restore my iphone. It work for the fisrt connection, but after the same problem persist.

And more, I can't pass music with my Iphone locked... So sad...

I have a Mercedes slk and cannot control with the steering wheel or central control.

I also note that when I get into the car it used to automatically connect and play my music.

Now I have to manually play it from the iPhone 4.

So it does stream.

It is very dangerous at the moment as to control through fingertip is far safer than rummaging for the phone and skipping forward

I am a UK user of an iPhone 5, and have found that, follwing an 'upgrade' to what seems othweise to be an excellent IOS7, the hands-free settings on my 2008 Ford Focus ST for making telephone calls no longer work. With the radio on on the factory-fitted Sony in-car audio unit (a six-disc CD changer, radio etc), if I 'interrupt' the programme to make a call, I can tthen neither easily go into my list of contacts to make a call, as I could with the previous OS on the phone, nor does the red 'end call' button seem to take you back to radio use if you decide not to make a call. That red button still works to end an actual call, but pressing it when you have decided not to make a call no longer takes you back to the radio operation, as it should; in such an instance the red button, which worked fine before the IOS 7 upgrade, is unresponsive. Has anyone else with a similar car, Sony standard car audio unit, and iPhone 5 running IOS7 had similar issues? I am on Vodafone 3G.

I'm having the same issue with my Toyota (2012 Prius). Updated to iOS7 and now the controls on the steering wheel and center console are dead.

Prior to iOS 7 my iPhone 5 would automatically connect and play music through my cars (2012 Civic) bluetooth. After updating to iOS 7, my phone will connect, HOWEVER, I have to manually use the play and skip buttons on my phone for anything to happen. My phone no longer responds when I try using the skip buttons on my steering wheel. I have also tried to repair my phone as well. Like everyone else here, this is extremely frustrating, not to mention a big safety risk. Hopefully Apple fixes this, and soon.

Has anyone using Pioneer head units in their cars had a problem with the ios 7 update? When Apple put out ios 6, none of the meta data was usable and the steering wheel controls did not work. It took a firmware update by Pioneer (six months later) to restore functionality.

Same issue in a 2013 Ford Focus, can't skip or go to previous using steering wheel controls. Also, can't skip from lock screen...Worked fine until iOS 7 upgrade.
