I'm having some issues with the mail search feature in iOS7 on my iPhone. If I search for the name of a sender in the email application I receive weird results. First, I receive two (duplicate) copies of every email, but those duplicate copies do not appear in the inbox when I'm not in search mode. Second, the emails do not appear in chronological order.
Is anyone else having these issues? Any clue how to solve them?

I just posted this same issue. Have it since yesterday - thought maybe apple would fix right away - actually on hold with them now - I WILL post back here once they answer - or don't.
OK - so they are sending the issue to engineering 🙂 Hopefully that weilds some results. I am about to update my other post with more info. ANd just FYI - they are recognizing that this is a search app issue - NOT an exchange issue....
which phone are you using? guessing iPhone 5? I just checked with another user on the same domain - he uses a 4s - he is NOT having the issue!! Updating the engineers now - and fyi - the 4s user gets chronological results - unlike us.

do you use rackspace hosted exchange or rse?
That question is a bit over my head. other than asking my IT department, is there a way for me to figure that out?
if you go to settings>mail>choose the account with the issues>click on the account line with the arrow sign>
does your server say connect.emailsrvr.com or secure.emailsrvr.com?

Neither. It says webmail.[mycompanydomain].com

Just to update with another data point, I am experiencing the same problems on ios7 on my iPad
Having same issues on iPad 3. iPhone 4S does not give duplicate results, but they also are not in chronological order. Hope App,e gets this fixed quickly. It makes mail search really difficult to use.
I'm having the same issue on iPhone 5. In addition to the chronological order issue and duplicate email issue, I have a third problem. When I select Edit in the bottom right hand corner after searching, on iOS 6, I could select emails on the left hand side that I wanted to move into a folder. With iOS 7, the majority of emails are now unselectable in Edit mode.... very strange. This was my favorite way of clearing out my inbox
I also have the same issue with an iPad 2 and iPhone 5. Very frustrating when searching, so hopefully there will be a fix for this issue soon.
Still haven't heard back from anyone....hoping today. I will be sending the tech links to all of the discussions currently surrounding the issues.
I'm able to select the items to delete...they just don't delete!
