Led flashlight not working but it DOES work with camera, any ideas? Multiples apps tried none work

Hi, this may not be an ios7 only issue but just upgraded to 7 and flashlight doesn't light the LED. Works fine as camera flash though. It's an original iphone 5 and have tried a couple of free apps from App Store which don't work as flashlight either.
