Q: new version of itunes didnt install correctly and i lost all my songs

anyone know what to do if your computer doesnt finish installing itunes completley and youve lost all of your songs?

I followed these instructions and the files names returned to my itunes, however the actual files are still missing.

Please can anyone help?
