Q: After upgrading itunes 11.1, sync with google contacts option disappear.

Itunes 11.1 has no option for syncing with google contacts?

I always sync my address book with google contacts by using itunes.

Even though I know syncing via air, I prefer syncing via itunes.

Please advise me to figure it out.

iPhone 3GS, iOS 6.1.3

A very simple solution I just implemented.

Go to Settings > Mails, Contacts, Calendards > ACCOUNTS > Add Account (add your Gmail account if not already configured).

Now after configuring your gmail account, go in details of the configured account and Switch On the Contacts option.

Now visit Contacts of your iphone. It would have been synced shortly if you are connected to the internet.

Starting January of 2013 Google stopped exchange support for NEW apple and other devices. If you set that account you referring to - you will not see contacts switch. There is still way around it.
