My brother accidentally slam his fist hard into my upper part monitor of my macbook air; Will this damage the monitor in any way?

Hello guys, I just wanted to know if their is any wires that could possiblely come loose by getting hit hard on the upper portion of the screen. Any help with this would be much appreciated.

MacBook Air, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5)

if the monitor was closed, it would be a solid hit as a unit in total, little chance of damage since alloy case of monitor was struck

if the monitor was punched on the SCREEN SIDE and open then there is a possible :

A: crack in the screen

B: break in the LCD behind the screen

and regardless of punched from front OR back of monitor:

C: hinge(s) being torqued and damage to one of the 2 friction hinges that hold the monitor, which would cause the the monitor to be skewed when closed, and change how the monitor opens / closes

Yes on what Steve says below,.... if you think your Mac is sick after getting a black eye, take it to the Apple store for a free check up 😍
