Q: How do you formally close an app from the multitasking menu in iOS 7? Is it necessary and/or helpful to do so?

How do I close apps from the multitasking menu on an IPad with iOS7? It does work like it did previous to iOS7.

iPad mini Wi-Fi + Cellular (MM), iOS 7

Close Apps

1. Double tap the home button to bring up the multi-tasking view

2. Swipe up on the screenshot of the app you want to exit.

3. The app will fly off the screen
