When I updated to ios 7, most of my music dissapeared. What happened?
I had around 6,000 songs on my ipod, but now I only have around 1,500 songs after updating.

If yo updated via iTunes, if the music was not in your iTunes library it will not be on the iPod after the update.
If you updated via wifi then a glitch occurred. You will have to resync the music to your iPod.
I updated via wifi and I had all of my music on both my computer and my ipod. The weird thing is that if I go under usage in settings, it says that I only had around 11gb of music instead of the normal 45gb of music, but the space available is still the same from before the music dissapeared. Will restoring my ipod touch and then re-syncing put all the music back onto my Ipod?
Sounds like some of the music got corrupted during the update. That ahppens sometimes
- Unsync all music and resync
- Restore from backup. See:
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
