IOS7 on new Ipad... sucked battery dry and wont charge

So I updated it this morning... used it today for work... got home and set it on the counter. went to use it tonight and the battery is dead. it has NEVER died in one day... no matter how much I use it. 2nd problem is I plugged it in using the original charger 20min ago and it still will not even power on. Battery is still completely dead. using the original charger. wth is wrong with my Ipad!? 😟
