My ringtones disappeared, how do I get them back. These are ringtones that I purchased and when I did a backup on the computer with my iphone 5 they no longer exist on my phone. Where did they go?

With some playing around I was able to get them back through iTunes. Thanks for the help.
I unchecked all ringtones and also stopped syncing any music, pictures, tv or movies completely.
I checked each ringtone individually and ran sync, for every one of them.
Then I went to music and checked each play list individually, syncing after every one, and it worked. It finally finished a sync for the first time - EVER...oh my goodness what a mess... 😐
After a LOT of searching for missing ringtones, both purchased and created, I found this answer. I had moved them from the original folder where I had originally stored them. They were listed in the 'tones' library, but the library could not find them. I right clicked and selected 'get info'. It then told me that it could not find the file and allowed me to find it. Afterwards, I synced the phone and voila! there they were again. I hope this helps!
Should still be safe and sound on your computer's iTunes library. Synch them back.
Okay, I found them and did a sync but they did not go onto my phone, now what? How do I get them back into my phone sounds for ringtones?

Mostly I unchecked the ringtones in itunes and rechecked them and sync'd the iphone with itunes, took 2 seconds.
I had to do that as well, but it worked.
