Q: how do i request my iphone to be unlock?

i'm very much willing to pay but there is no unlock service available for GLOBE Philippines. The unlock option is very much available to AT&T and other popular networks but not to my network. I really suggest Apple can make it a uniform process because at the moment, even if the contract is over and I'm willing to pay for a fee, unlocking my iphone locked to Globe network is not possible. I have owned an 3G, 3GS, 4, 4S and the 5 but my problem is I can't use any of them after my contract or my mom's contract expires.

iPhone 4S, iOS 6.1.3

    airbacs,

You clearly don't have any clue as to how the cell phone industry works.  Manufacturers like Apple, Samsung, LG, HTC, and Nokia don't lock phones.  They just manufacture them.  Carriers purchase the phones from the manufacturers and lock them.  Each carrier determines whether they will then unlock the phones, and what the requirements their customers must fulfill to unlock the phones.  It has absolutely nothing at all to do with the manufacturers.

The Apple store sells unlocked phones that can be used with any supported GSM carrier.  Carriers, of course, generally will sell phones that they've locked to their networks.

You don't have to like it, but that's the way the world works.
