i have registered my quicktime pro but there is no pro anywhere!

i have registered my quicktime pro but there is no pro anywhere!

well i have just bought my quicktime pro key and i entered the key and it says quicktime pro 7 but when i go to the icon on my desktop it goes to the basic window. i have no clue where to go to even start pro. please help!

When you open the QuickTime Player are the "Pro" tags removed from some menu items?
If so the QuickTime Player is now able to open, edit and export to QuickTime formats and play local files in full screen mode.

ok thanx but i still dont get it can u use quicktime to rip dvds? or do i have to use different software?

QuickTime Pro can't even open CSS encrypted (Hollywood) DVD's.
It can open the MPEG-2 format (found on most DVD's) that are not protected by encryption. This requires the additional MPEG-2 PLayback Component.
Search in the iPod Discussions pages for the methods others have used to "hack" into DVD's.

i have the same problem... entered the "Pro" key... clicked on "apply" but still free program no "Pro". You mentioned "tags" what exactly am i looking for? I'm new to Quicktime. THANKS!!

If you've properly entered the registration info the words QuickTime Pro will appear under the serial number field.
This is the only place you'll see the word Pro.
The QuickTime Pro features are now enabled in the QT Player app. This is where you open, edit and view files.
