Hi KiltedTim,

I have the same problem. Updated to iOS7, upon reboot I was asked to enter a passcode. I do not remember ever setting one.

I have connected to iTunes and it is telling me to turn off Find my Ipad, on my iPad - but I cant get in to turn it off. I have turned it off on iCloud - but that has not worked.

I have restored to factory settings - it is still asking for a passcode...

Any suggestions???

For everyone who has this problem - when you first upgraded part of the setup asked you to enter a passcode if your phone did not have one previously. That is the passcode you need now. There is no way around entering the passcode that you created during setup. If you don't remember it you must restore the phone using iTunes, and you will lose all of your content. If you had backed up to iTunes or to iCloud you can restore that backup.

I contacted apple support who advised and assisted me with the same information as u replied above but I am still no further. I was never asked for a pass code when I upgraded to IOS 7. I upgraded my iPhone but it had a pass code so I had no problems. I upgraded my mothers iPad after I upgraded my iPad and got locked out BUT I went in to settings on my mothers iPad before upgrading and turned off pass code so I had no problems after upgrading her iPad. I restored and synced my iPad thru iTunes and it still will not let me get past the screen to enter the 4 digit code which I never had on my iPad. Now what??
