The new system for discussions asks that after you mark your question as Answered, you take the time to mark any posts that have aided you with the tag and the post that provided your answer with the tag. This not only gives points to the posters, but points anyone searching for answers to similar problems to the proper posts.

Well, I can look at my combined Motion and FCP points and I clobber Shane as well, but then I look here and I realize that my piddly point counts don't add up to a hill-o-beans in the big picture... Jerry has 42925 and he's in seventh place!

I just look good on paper.

I don't know how I shot up to the top like that...and with such a huge point lead. It must have something to do with the current point system, which is flawed.

Yeah, Patrick has me in total points (counting Motion Forum pts) and really, knows far more than I do.

Yes, the point totals of some of the forum leading lights are <princess bride voice> inconceivable</pbv>.
