GarageBand 3 gives Core Audio error

If I get the latest update for GarageBand (3.0.2) I get a Core Audio error then GarageBand finishes loading but I can't add no instruments because they're not available. Not disable, not available. I can't see them.

If I uninstall GarageBand 3.0.2 then reinstall 3.0 from iLife 06 and then don't get the 3.0.2 update, GarageBand works fine.

I'm on a MacMini 1.42 GHz PowerPC G4 on OSX 10.4.6.

Again, I've had problems with GarageBand 3 until I get the latest 3.0.2 update.

Anyone else run into this problem on a MacMini.

Are you using an audio interface, I have a mac mini also and I remember something similar to that was resolved by simply openeding GarageBand's preferences and seletcing the Built in Audio again. You may always want to verify the audio output using the Audio/Midi setup utility. Hopefully that helps you run the latest release.
