My iPhone 4s notifications sounds have stopped working on iOS7

Same here but on my iPad ... all the notification sounds are off ... no sound when someone facetimes me so unless I'm looking at the iPad at the time, I miss the calls ... camera sound is off when a picture is taken ... no sound to confirm emails have been delievered / sent ...

ios7 ... what a load of garbage!

I'm having the same problem I get no sound notifications when my phone is locked but when it's unlocked the sounds work fine for notifications apple to needs to solve this problem on iPhone 4S

My sounds finally came back though not sure if this is the 'fix' or just blind luck! I upgraded to ios 7.0.2 but that fixed nothing.

Out of des[eration - I went into settings > sounds

... then moved the 'ringer and alerts' slider right over to the left (ie. silent) then right back over to the far right (ie. highest volume). That seemed to kick everything back to life and I've set the slider back to a more normal level (around midway for me).

Swipe up/down on the opening page to get to notifications settings and airplay settings. At the top row of icons find the one that says "do not disturb" and tap on it to turn it off.
