After iTunes update, iCloud Podcasts still display even though the option to hide is set.

I updated iTunes the other day and noticed that even though I have disabled the option to show iCloud content, iCloud podcats still display. I am a pretty heavy podcast user yet am also VERY picky about my content. I have no desire to see, for example, every instance of a podcast that covers news which is released fresh every 12 hours. The iCloud music listing seems to respect the setting correctly.

Any ideas what may be the cause?

MacBook Air (13-inch Late 2010), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5)

Yeah, it's a serious problem. I recommend avoiding the List pane now: the My Podcasts or My Stations views aren't exactly good - the old List pane was far better - but at least they're somewhat manageable.

You can read more about this at various threads, but I don't think anyone's found much of a solution.

I am very unhappy with this. I am thinking Apple wants to force us to start thinking about everything in relationship to the cloud. 11.1 has to be the worst update ever.
