iWork syncing not working since iOS 7 install

Hi,

Since installing iOS 7 on my iPhone 5 and iPad mini, I've noticed that my iWork documents have stopped syncing across devices (those 2 mentioned and my MacBook Pro). This applies to all three iWork applications. On iOS, documents say they are updating, and I get the blue progress bar within folders and on specific documents, but the update never goes through. On the Mac and in the iWork application's iCloud folder, updated or new documents just say "Waiting" with a little cloud picture-- this is what I usually get when I don't have internet access.

Furthermore, I cannot access my documents from the iCloud.com website. If I log in and attempt to navigate to one of the iWork for iCloud programs, I just get sent back out to the icloud.com main menu screen and am asked to reenter my login info. I CAN access all other features of icloud.com without issue (Mail, Notes, Reminders, etc.), so this isn't a total iCloud problem.

I have tried restarting all devices. I have also tried turning off iCloud document syncing on both iOS devices, letting the items get deleted, and then turning it back on... all to no avail (haven't tried this on my Mac because I don't want to lose all the docs I have created or updated since the problem started).Accor

According to Apple's System Status page, Documents in iCloud is running without issue. Is anyone else having this problem? And are there any other potential solutions that I haven't thought of?

Thanks!

Kyle

Same problem here, except that I can't even access my Pages docs from my MacBook Pro. When I edit a doc on my iPad and move on, the little up-arrow appears in the icon, but no progress bar shows up. The changes don't proceed to iCloud. Tech support says"glitch." No suggestions as to a fix. Glad to hear I'm not the only one. I've returned to the iTunes process for saving my docs to my computer. I can't remember when I've upgraded an operating system that didn't pose serious problems with programs. Which is why on my Mac I'm still running Lion. Probably why iWorks for iOS is still a beta program???

This is definitely not an iOS7 problem. I have the exact same problem with my iPhone and iPad mini (both running iOS6), my iPad 2 (problem occured with iOS6, and still occures with iOS7), my Macbook air, and iCloud. The last time that I know the documents synced properly was 9/16, which was right before iOS7 was released.

Sounds like I will be giving Apple a call so that they are awair that several of us have this problem. I totally depend on iWork where I work, so this has been very difficult!

The iWorks – iCloud sync under iOS 7 just started working for me now on my iPhone and iPad. On my Mac Mini, I backed up my mobile documents folder into three separate locations. On my iPhone in Settings-Pages, I turned off use iCloud and then turned it back on. iCloud then tried to sync 294 documents, but it was still frozen. I did not try this on my iPad. Now, without me doing anything both my iPhone and iPad started syncing Pages documents under iOS7. Looks like they fixed it. However, I will still keep my mobile documents folder backed up on my Mac Mini.

That is great things are starting to work for you, #amsg. I still haven't had any luck. I have logged out of iCloud on my phone, but that didn't do anything. I also deleted Numbers and reinstalled it. All that did was remove all my documents except for the ones that were waiting to upload. I hope to find time to call Apple tomorrow.

Yes, the problem appears to have been fixed. Documents have now updated across all devices and I can once again access all three programs through the icloud website.

(in response to previous comment, note that you have never been able to access icloud.com from an iPad or iPhone. someone was mistaken if they gave that as advice)

I have been having the same issues with my iOS versions of Pages, Keynote and Numbers. they are not syncing to iCloud... I have tried restoring each device as a "new" device and reinstalling the iOS versions of iWork. they'll pull down my already stored cloud copies of my documents but none of the new stuff since iOS 7 will upload to the cloud... they're showing the icon that they're pending upload (little up arrow in the upper right corner of the document).

I tried going to icloud.com from a computer browser (safari on PC, chrome, IE, firefox) and icloud will force log me off if I try clicking on Pages, Keynote or Numbers.

I have the newest retina iPad and and iPhone 4 that I'm having issues on (ordered a 5s, and planning on buying a MBP soon... so don't give me a hard time 🙂 )

is anyone else having this problem still?

thank you!

I have same problem and cannot resolve it. I also loaded iOS7 on my iPhone 5 and iPad4 recently. Now no documents can sync to iCloud. I can read the documents from iCloud but nothing will write to iCloud any more. I often use my MacBook Pro to edit in my office and then use the Numbers documents in the field on my iPad and make small edits. Now I can no longer work this way. This must be some problem with iCloud itself. My MacBook has no new software but also cannot write updates to iCloud now. I guess we have to wait for Apple to figure out what they did wrong and correct the problem.
