Cant seem to update iTunes no 11.1!

I've updated my iPhone 4s to iOS7 and tried to update my iTunes as well but it keeps failing, I go to the site, on safari, the link works, it downloads, installs, ( it does show a message saying that a certain extention cant be used '' telestreamaudio.kext'' idk if it has anything to do with it. Then when I look the iTunes is still the same, Updating it via '' search for updates'' on the itunes itself keeps saying ''no available updates''. What can I do?/
