The dictionary on my phone no longer works.. Why is that? I am on iOS 7.

the define function seems to be working fine for me.
What app are you using it in?
How are you using the dictionary?
Have you tried, I know this sounds clichè but, turning the phone off and on again by holding power, and sliding to turn off?

How did you do that? I downloaded the ''Apple Dictionary'' from the ''Manage'' button, and it is still not working: the dictionary simply doesn't appear as an option to define the selected word. I could download other dictionaries, such as the Oxford, but not the Apple one. Do you have any idea how to make it work?

I figured it out. I had to redownload the dictionary. it was in text messages that the apple built in one wasn't working.
