Can't enable WiFi in iOS 7

Can you post a picture of what you see in Settings -> WiFi? I'm not sure what "it's like it's disabled" means.

im having the same problem here, just update ios7 and few days later im unable to turn on wifi, from control center i can turn it on, but nothing, and from settings can not slide it to turn it on.

Is your wife's iPhone 4S still under warranty?

I upgraded to iOS 7.0 the day it was released and it was working fine until yesterday. Wifi turned off and can't turn it on again.

Same bug, just happened to me. If it matters I noticed it in association with some recent difficulty getting it to boot up. My iPhone 4s is nearly two years old; would the Apple store really replace it? Wouldn't you expect them to send a patch to fix it?

I cooled off my iPhone in front of an A/C, reset network settings, and it now allows me to enable WiFi. But the WiFi settings are really slow and it's seemingly unable to detect the networks.

Same for me -- I have the 4S. I cannot join my house or office network. I have tried the numerous potential fixes mentioned in one long string on this topic, but none has worked.

After I cooled off my iPhone more and tried again it seems to be working now, but I'm going easy on it for now, still seems questionable.

Same problem here. Tried all the reboot/ restore from back up / reinstall ios7 / reset network settings. No joy. As I'm typing this I am noticing the keyboard lag that is another common iOS 7 complaint. Anyway my wifi went out in the middle of a Netflix show I was watching on my phone. Just *poof* gone. Very frustrating. Apple needs to fix this NOW. WIFI chip overheating? Read about tossing phone in fridge. I'll pass on the witchcraft. I'd rather throw it in trash if the hardware is that delicate. I'm going to call apple today and see what can be done.

I'm having the same problem - was a fix to the wifi issue ever made? The nearest Apple store is 90 minutes away and my wife's due to have a baby this week, so it'll be a while before I can make it to the Apple store.

Have the same issues with my moms 4s. I was like why did you upgrade to 7. Everyone always rushes to install the latest. Now it broken. Same deal here. Hold home buuton untill siri comes on. The say "siri please tuen on the wifi". Then it does it. Magic.

But in control center or serttings wifi is still greyed out. My mom went to apple store today and they said the wifi engine is burned out and will be 200 to fix. They didn't even run diagnostic just rudely said wifi engine is burned out.

I did itunes restore and backup. Setup as new device. The wifi turned on again but really slow and no networks found. The after restore I did backup. I mean resotred the phone using the backup. And now don't know what I installed or messed with but the wifi is still fu**ed up. Not turning back on. Still greyed out.

I went to apple store today with moms 4s and he said I was 9 days out of warentee. But it was documented in july so he replaced it and gave me a free phone. All is good now. It has IOS6. SO I'm sticking with 6 and not risking reinstalling 7.

I doubt you'd have a problem with a new phone, especially if you upgrade it over iTunes (I assume the problem you had was upgrading over WiFi). And now it should be under an updated warranty anyway right?
