IOS7 Wallpaper Jumping

Hello Everyone,

I'm assuming this is a software bug, but just in case, I thought I would share it. IOS 7 added moving wallpaper that seams to follow your face behind the icons. However, sometimes when I open an app and return to the home screen, I'll see the wallpaper jump a little towards the top of the screen. It's almost as if it sees my face and tries to quickly adjust the wallpaper. It happens on stock wallpapers as well as downloaded. Has anyone else noticed this?

Thanks,

Gabe

I no longer believe it to be facial related. If I cover the camera and tilt the phone, the wallpaper still moves, so it must be the M7 chip. Anyway, I can tilt the phone, watch the wallpaper move, open and app, tilt the phone another direction, and as soon as I press the home button, the wallpaper jumps to where it thinks it should be moved like it's trying to catch up.

Yep, seems ALL 5s phones are doing this, by "all" I mean everyone I have seen including the 2 I own.

When I exit any app and return to the home screen the apps all seem to shift slightly up/down or left/right like they are trying to adjust their position on the screen....

As I've said for 5+ years, it just amazes me that crap like this gets past all the testing Apple supposedly does prior to release.

I would not be at all surprised if they knew about this bug before shipping. I don't think testers miss this kind of thing at all. I think its a tradeoff between meeting their deadline - their biggest deadline - vs delaying it due to wallpaper that jumps a few pixels. I would much rather live with the bug for a few weeks then to go a few weeks without my 5S.
