Sound solution but don't you then end up with a new Apple ID that may separate your iTunes account from your iCloud account?

Yes, that's true but I already use a separate iTunes Store account from my regular iCloud account use for syncing documents photo Stream etc. I also have two other iCloud accounts, one which I share between myself and my wife just for contacts and calendars and another which I share with some other family members. You can still leave your current iCloud account as your iTunes Store account. Just delete it from the iCloud section and don't touch the store, iMessages, FaceTime etc. You can use a separate iCloud/Apple ID for every single thing on your device. If you want, you can even delete the 'broken' iCloud account as your main iCloud syncing account but then re-add it in the mail, contacts, and calendars section and just use it for calendars contacts mail etc. Then use the newly created iCloud account as the main syncing account for photo stream, documents, Safari etc.

Seeing the same thing - even on a fresh install of mountain lion, my docs are unable to sync (ubiquity doesn't work and no ~/Library/Mobile Documents created)

It's up to Apple to get this fixed. Apparently we all have a "flag" or "lock" on our accounts that is preventing Document and Data syncing.

Looks like its back and working again across my computers and iPads but my iPhone 5S still is having problems. Going to try a reboot of the iPhone.

Turning off Documents and Data and restarting any apps that use iCloud seem to have fixed the issue on my iPhone 5S.

My other iDevices seemed to have sorted themselves out on their own though.

I am now able to login to iCloud and open the iWork web apps. New items I create are uploaded, but nothing is getting downloaded across my devices..

I'm not having such luck on any of my devices yet.

Attempted turning off and on Documents & Data, restarting the phone, restarting the app.

Maybe Apple is halfway through iCloud accounts with the fix ...

Same problem here. Document sync is fine on all of my other devices but not downloading for iWork or syncing with other apps. Also unable to log into iWork apps on iCloud.com. Tried every combination of stopping and starting services, restoring the iPhone 5S, etc. Very frustrating as I use iOS iWork for work.

I have been having the same issues with my iOS versions of Pages, Keynote and Numbers. they are not syncing to iCloud... I have tried restoring each device as a "new" device and reinstalling the iOS versions of iWork. they'll pull down my already stored cloud copies of my documents but none of the new stuff since iOS 7 will upload to the cloud... they're showing the icon that they're pending upload (little up arrow in the upper right corner of the document).

I tried going to icloud.com from a computer browser (safari on PC, chrome, IE, firefox) and icloud will force log me off if I try clicking on Pages, Keynote or Numbers.

I have the newest retina iPad and and iPhone 4 that I'm having issues on (ordered a 5s, and planning on buying a MBP soon... so don't give me a hard time 🙂 )
