Sep 27, 2013 10:47 AM in response to amcleod82by Trunyan,What's the trick my won't sync been 4 hours.

Sep 27, 2013 11:57 AM in response to Trunyanby amcleod82,Make sure your device has the latest iOS 7.0.2 software. If it has and still won't sync, I would suggest trying to turn off documents and data syncing in the iCloud settings, then turning it back on.
It may also be worth checking to see if you can access your documents from iCloud.com. If you can't, it would suggest your account is still locked and a call to Apple support would be in order.

Sep 27, 2013 2:47 PM in response to kepardueby Andrew Bucknill,I don't think it has anything to do with the update. I haven't updated any of my devices but my apps have started syncing again spontaneously.

Sep 27, 2013 6:59 PM in response to Trunyanby themarkofbooks,Make sure all devices are updated to 7.0.2. When I only had my iphone updated, it didn't work for me either until I did all devices.

Sep 27, 2013 9:47 PM in response to kepardueby Lowbflat,I have had no trouble logging into iCloud from my Mac.
My iPhone 4S on iOS 7 and my 1st gen iPad on iOS 5 talk to each other and iCloud. I just updated to iOS 7.02 on my 4S but it worked before.
iWork on my Mac doesn't doesn't talk to iCloud. I was having problems with Contacts & iCal but they have been fixed. Frustrating!

Sep 28, 2013 3:25 PM in response to Lowbflatby Andrew Bucknill,Lowbflat, I had the same problem when I first upgraded Mac OS to the version that allows iWork to sync with iCloud. Files created previous to the upgrade wouldn't sync.
I duplicated those files and the duplicates synced fine. I then deleted the originals. I don't know if that's any help.

Sep 28, 2013 4:30 PM in response to kepardueby Lowbflat,Ahhh, no. Like most of the complaints, mine is recent. Everything worked fine till a few weeks ago.
For kicks, two days ago, I did delete a one page document after copying the text to Notes for safekeeping, created a new one in Pages, restored the content and uploaded it to iCloud. Like the others, it updates fine among iCloud, iPad and iPhone but the original in iWork may as well not exist.

Sep 30, 2013 10:29 PM in response to kepardueby rotorbailey,Thanks aidwhit. That worked for me. Specifically, I think it was step 6, "For devices that are having problems, try turning “Documents & Data” in iCloud settings off, restarting, then turning it on. Restart an iOS device by holding down the power button for several seconds." (I did a hard reset by holding both buttons until the apple appeared.)

Oct 27, 2013 10:24 AM in response to rotorbaileyby Jim Alden,My problem may be related to this? Somehow, when I set up my iPhone 5S, it resulted in me having 12.34GB of "Documents and Data" on my new iPhone! Is this because when I set it up, iCloud wasn't syncing D+D? if it is indeed working now, how do I get this large chunk of D+D off of my iPhone?!?

Oct 31, 2013 2:49 PM in response to kepardueby Lowbflat,OK.
My problem wasn't the IOS devices syncing, it was Pages on my iMac. That is what broke with Beta.
Well it's been fixed, sort of.
Documents created with Pages 4.3 will talk to my first gen iPad. Anything I edit there can be opened in Pages 4.3.
Docs created in Pages 5 will talk to my iPhone and vise versa but if I need to read it on my iPad, I cannot make any changes on my iPhone - even accidentally. Fortunately, that's not an issue for me. I can read and close, however.
My only workaround is to keep Pages 4.3 until I get a new iPad. Letting my children know that's what Dad wants for Christmas.

Dec 5, 2013 11:45 PM in response to kepardueby Code_Wizard,After fighting with this issue with DayOneApp, iaWriter, and several others; I gave up and switched to using DropBox. I'm not happy about using Dropbox, not because I prefer ICloud (I don't), because I would rather use a more secure service (Box) or my own sync server.
As of right now; if the only way to sync w/i an app is through iCloud, I won't buy the app. It's just not worth the hassle. It's the main reason I never paid to upgrade my iWork apps; and why I don't have iWork on my iPad.
Apple knows of the issues w/iCloud and sync; but they are slow to rectify them. It's high time Apple decided to be ahead of the curve, instead of years behind it.
I am beginning to wonder if getting an iPhone is worth it. The reason to get Apple products, in the past, is because they worked. That's not so anymore.

Jan 19, 2014 6:26 PM in response to Music47ellby Oz Nicko,Finally, problem solved. If documents in icoud are not syncing on your mac just do the following
Reset iCloud sync state
- On Mac:
- Close open applications
- Open a Finder window
- Choose “Go to Folder…” from the “Go” menu
- Enter “~/Library/Application Support/”
- Find the folder named “Ubiquity” and move it to the Trash (Empty Trash using Secure Empty Trash Option and then
- Restart your computer
It will fix the problem
