Q: Downloaded itunes 11.1 and no longer have the airplay icon

Airplay icon missing from iTunes 11.1. Any ideas how to get airplay back?

A:

Restart the computer.

Ensure the computer and ATV are on the same network, they should be if it was working before.

iOS7.. Slide up the control panel from the bottom. Air play icon is available on there along with the music controls when the Airplay unit is on.
Mac. The icon is only available in the usual place when the Airplay unit is turned on. (Along the top of the window)..

having problem using it on my windows computer, it has no icon on itunes for airplay anymore. iPhone and iPad work fine just not itunes
