I am seeing main screen distorted after upgrading to IOS 7

Do a reset. Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. After the phone restarts, see if that corrects it.
Will it erase all my iphone data and apps, since I have important stuff and purchases in my phone?
The reset that I described will not affect your data.
Restart didnt solved my screen distorted issue. I am still seeing this occuring randomly. Each time I see i have to restart to make it work.
If that is continuing to happen, you need to look at something else. Did you try to reset all settings? Go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. That will not affect data either, it will just reset settings you have on the phone.The next step after a reset as I described is a restore from a backup. If that doesn't work, you need to try a restore as a new device. If that works, then that means you had something corrupt in your backup. Make sure everything is synced to the computer/iCloud and that pictures are imported from the camera roll. The restore as new will delete all data from the phone.
