You're welcome. Wish I had better news. You can adjust some of the contrast,text size,and bold text under settings general,accessibility. But that wouldn't address the background color itself.
Maybe wearing rose-coloured glasses would help 😀! Hmm!
Maybe. You could turn down the brightness?? Pull up the control panel and give it a go.
It is a bit of a balancing act but I think I've finally got it to my liking without affecting the other apps too much. Thanks again.
Good, I'm glad it helped. I'm not crazy about some of the icons but there are several features in iOS 7 that make it really nice.
