I keep getting an error message 'this cable or accessory is not certified and may not work reliably with this iPhone'. Nothing is plugged in to my phone and it's ******* me the **** off!!! Every 2 mins it pops up!

Me too. Apple support couldn't solve it either.

The most common cause of this problem is lint or moisture in the Lightning connector on the bottom of the phone. Get a light and magnifying glass and inspect it; you can clean it with a wooden toothpick.

Im having the same issue. It doesnt have to be plugged in and keep getting error message that not supported. It worked fine before upgrade.. 😟 dont want to lose charger but that constant beeping doesnt help especially when your on phone..

If you actually read the message thread you posted to you will find a solution.

If this is happening with nothing pluged in the cause is almost certainly dirt or damage in the connector on the bottom of the phone. Try cleaning it and inspecting it with a magnifying glass.

If Lawrence's suggestions don't do it for you then it is time to take it to Apple and have them check it out.

Even am geting the same pop up evry time :( so annoying plz apple do something cz last update of ios 7.1 though it is usefull bt need to provide one more update for this error pop up.
