Apple remote app under ios7 won't rotate
After the ios7 update my remote app doesn't work in landscape on my ipad 2. Anyone else experienced this?

Is this the only app that will not rotate?
If no apps will rotate, turn off Portrait Lock as described in the User's Guide.
Portrait lock is not on and yes - it is the only app that won't rotate.
That is very interesting.
What has been tried so far, just so we're not suggesting things that have already been tried?
Nothing really. I suppose the first thing I should do is deleted and re download. I just wondered if anyone else had encountered the same problem.
Deleted, restarted ipad and reinstalled the app. Still doesn't rotate, but interestingly when logging in to home sharing I notice it still uses the ios 6 keyboard, so evidently it hasn't been updated for ios 7 yet.
It could be a limitation of the Remote app in iOS7... extremely strange if that is the case.
Same problem on ipad3
Same here, Remote is the only app not rotating. Have tried everything I could imagine might fix it to no avail. Considering that the app icon hasn't been "sevened" my guess is someone missed the briefing or Apple doesn't understand how important this app is to some of us. There are already a few other threads on this, haven't yet found a solution in them.
Words with Friends app seems to have the same problem
Add me to the list of people having this issue.
Also I've noticed that the Library Filter Buttons (Songs, Albums, Artists, More) do not react to a touch on screen unless the search box to the right is touched first.
Yep same problem on ipad 4 Retina, stuck in portrait mode. Looks like this app missed the 7 update treatment which is so annoying as i am set up to use this app all the time in landscape. Come on Apple, sort this out in an update...
Yes, same issue here. What I find annoying is Apples lack of response. If it's an oversight then say so and advise when it will be sorted. They must by now be aware of this issue.

Apple does not respond in these user to user technical support forums.
Didn't know that, thanks for the info.
