No, the unlocked 5S is not available in the USA. A non-contract T-mobile phone is, but it is not stated to be unlocked.
Went into my store at The Westchester yesterday..plenty iPHONE 5S for sale...they verified that on the Apple site that the 64gb unlocked version is for sale only online not in stores..it says UNLOCKED I believe with a tmobile sim. I will be putting my ATT sim card in for USA use and my SA sim card for when i will be in SA for 6 months

if you press one the $849.00 link on the right of the page comes up the unlocked specs....i merely cut and pasted the exact wording...the att sim card will def work in this particular phone...which is what I have ordered and what i need

It does, that phone is not locked hence the prices.
Thanks for the clarification. It was very clear on the order page for the 5c that the phone was unlocked. With the 5s it's very ambiguous. While it does state it's unlocked for international travel, it doesn't specifically state it's unlocked to domestic carriers (AT&T).
If you say it's unlocked to all carriers, domestic and international, I'll definitely take your word for it. As this is bound to come up in many threads, I again thank your for the clarification as I would not want to be giving out erroneous information.
