I have three weeks old iPad (4th gen) Wi-Fi. Every now and then, the touch screen stops responding completely. Resetting does not help, after the device turns on again the touch screen still does not work. Then, suddenly, after a few hours, the touch screen works again. Usually this happens once in a day. When the touch screen isn't working, the device is otherwise functional, I have logitech ultrathin keyboard which is recognized and the iPad seems to be working otherwise. Except for the touch screen, it doesn't respond to anything. Resetting seems to be the usual answer, but in my case, it doesn't help.

Updating to iOS 7 didn't help either, the problem is exactly the same before and after the update.
